WHY HOBOKEN?

Sweet is located in Hoboken, New Jersey — a small but lively city situated just across the Hudson River from Manhattan. Despite being barely over a mile square, Hoboken has much to offer whether its food, drinks, music or parks. Often referred to as the “sixth borough,” Hoboken has something for everyone. As soon as I stepped foot into the neighborhood, I knew that it was the perfect place for Sweet and found myself moving across the river!

Supplementary to its various nightlife attractions and landmarks, Hoboken is also home to a diverse range of international cuisine, including everything from German, to Middle Eastern, to Malaysian. Fiore’s Deli offers an array of Italian deli products, but they’re famous for their fresh, made-on-premises mozzarella or “mutz” which is indisputably the best in town. Hoboken also boasts many great bakeries. Dom’s Bakery on Grand Street is known for their fresh Italian bread, baked in a brick oven that is over 120 years old. Walk uptown to Giorgio’s for some real Italian cannoli.

Make sure to save room for coffee and desert (and the best red velvet cupcakes in Hoboken) by Sweet, located at the corner of 4th and Garden.
